As a struggling, overthinking, highly self-critical aspiring novelist, what about an episode about overthinking writing (or art/creativity in general)? When do you know that you are good at your chosen artistic craft? With more than 50 separate projects in varying degrees of development, unsure if the one I'm working on at any given time holds merit and easily distracted and attracted to every new, shiny idea that pops into my head shouting, "This is the one," how does one resist overindulging in overthinking every little artistic choice, settle on a project, find faith and conviction in the project, silence the bombastic voice of self-doubt, and just write to the end of...something? Just a thought.
Would looooove an episode on overthinking about perfectionism. Not sure who the best guest would be...maybe Kate Kennedy, as a true millennial queen who gets the perfectionism so many of us experienced pressure to achieve growing up in the 90s/early aughts??
