The infamous seat cushion

I'm finally revealing the pics. Be forewarned, they're underwhelming.

At the request of several readers, from the “Ikea effect” chapter of The Age of Magical Overthinking, I now present my two most cherished creations: First, the grotesque bubblegum pink, Gary-from-SpongeBob seashell lamp that my best friend and I “flipped” and sold on Facebook marketplace for $60 lol. And second, the sad green seat cushion I hand-sewed in the pandemic and continue to sit upon every time I record a Sounds Like A Cult episode or conduct a Zoom interview to this very day. Have you ever seen two craft projects more… disappointing? As anyone who’s read that chapter knows, they are my masterworks.
