My honest career anxieties

I was too anxious today to record my normal Cultish audiobook commentary. So I recorded this instead.

As exciting as the past couple months of hardcore pre-order promo for The Age of Magical Overthinking have been, I certainly have days where the pressure gets the better of me. Today was one of those days. But I didn’t want to leave you paid subscribers totally hanging. So I decided just to be honest and share some of what I’m feeling in today’s recording. Thanks for being here and for being so supportive and patient. I’ll be back next week in better spirits! Maybe some of this will even shed some light on the reality of the book launch process. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows, as they say!
