I can’t express how much I appreciate you sweet, sweet newsletter subscribers for your patience as I slowly recover from The Age of Magical Overthinking book launch and Magical Overthinkers podcast premiere. The past few months have been a queasy-making tornado of pressure and attention, and as I’ve been recalibrating to the gravity back on Earth, returned to my little office where I’m most comfortable, I am terrible grateful to those of you who have granted me grace and stuck around. Regular newsletter posts will resume in the coming weeks, including some delightful behind-the-scenes tidbits and a bigger writing workshop project, all of which I’ve been very eager to put together but just haven’t had a spare nanosecond. I’m glad to report that scarcity of time is about to broaden!
Before I officially retire from the hullabaloo of book tour, I am giddy to be doing one last hurrah of events in Chicago, Minneapolis, and Seattle.

The Chicago and Minneapolis events are special ticketed performances of The Big Magical Cult Show, a wacky variety show featuring drag and burlesque performances, custom drinks and merch, a “parasocial Powerpoint,” meet & greet, and more. Here are some stills from my shows in Brooklyn and Philly to give you a taste of the vibe!
