A preview of my audiobook

I am still recovering from the utter dream that was getting to record my audiobook for The Age of Magical Overthinking at the impossibly cool and vibey York Recording studio in Highland Park, Los Angeles. This place has been graced by literary royalty: Miranda July recorded her new audiobook here the week before I did. Jeanette McCurdy recorded hers here, too. Not to mention all the legendary actors and musicians who’ve recorded voice over work and albums within these very walls: Pedro Pascal, Lauren Graham, Bradley Whitford, André 3000. I learned all this from my audiobook engineer Tim and director Randy, who were chill as hell and made the whole audiobook process feel like I was just hanging with friends for three days straight. They were also extremely validating and swore they loved my reading, so I can’t wait for y’all to hear it come April!!
